About the program
Bakar Bio Labs is UC Berkeley's life-science startup incubator, occupying more than 40,000 square feet in the renovated Woo Hon Fai Hall and able to host up to 50 companies. Members get wet lab benches, offices, shared equipment and access to Berkeley's research and investor ecosystem. It reports 62 tenant and alumni companies and $1.16B raised by residents. It is operated in partnership with QB3, the UC systemwide life sciences institute.
