Public description

About the program

Cedars-Sinai Technology Ventures is the health system's home for intellectual property management, venture investment, and startup acceleration, supporting commercialization of research discoveries generated across Cedars-Sinai and its affiliated academic medical enterprise. The office manages patenting, licensing, and industry partnering for the institution's technology portfolio. Its Accelerator+ arm is a venture-building platform for Seed+ and late-seed digital health and healthcare companies, running a 12-month program that supplies capital investment, clinical mentorship, market expertise, and expedited evaluation and real-world validation inside the Cedars-Sinai Health System. Outside companies engage by applying to Accelerator+ cohorts, by licensing Cedars-Sinai technologies, or through pilot and clinical integration agreements; the program historically also partnered with Techstars on cohort delivery.
