Public description
About the program
The CHCF Innovation Fund is the California Health Care Foundation's impact investing arm, backing early-stage companies improving care for Californians with low incomes and those served by Medi-Cal and the safety net. The Fund has explicitly prioritized founders of color and founders with lived experience of the systems they serve, and has partnered with accelerators to open pipelines for entrepreneurs of color. It invests directly rather than running a fixed cohort program.
