About the program
CoMotion is the University of Washington's collaborative innovation hub, serving UW Medicine clinicians and researchers alongside the rest of the university. It provides innovation training, IP advising and protection, licensing and material transfer agreements, translational funding and competitions, mentorship, and startup incubation through CoMotion Labs. The organization operates wet-lab and software incubator space in Seattle and supports student innovators. CoMotion reports annual spinoff, licensing and economic impact metrics for Washington State.
