About the program
Established in 2006, Michigan's Coulter Translational Research Partnership funds paired engineering and clinical faculty teams to accelerate development and commercialization of medical devices, diagnostics and other biomedical product concepts addressing unmet clinical needs. Projects are selected and managed against commercialization milestones, with success measured by industry licensing or startup formation followed by investor funding. It is one of the longest-running Coulter Foundation partnerships in the country.
