About the program
Boehringer Ingelheim's Grass Roots Innovation Program supports academic scientists and very early-stage biotech founders with research funding, scientific guidance and access to Boehringer expertise before a company has raised institutional capital. It includes the Grass Roots Innovation Prize and the Boehringer Ingelheim Academy, and operates globally with a US arm.
