Public description
About the program
HST is the long-running joint Harvard-MIT program that trains clinician-scientists and engineers to apply engineering and quantitative science to medicine. It runs the HST MD program, the Medical Engineering and Medical Physics (MEMP) PhD, and the HST-Wellman Summer Institute for Biomedical Optics, and connects students to entrepreneurial and translational opportunities across both campuses. Its graduates are a major feeder into Boston-area biomedical startups.
