Public description
About the program
The Health Care Innovation Awards were two rounds of CMS Innovation Center funding to organizations testing compelling new service delivery and payment models for Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries. Awardees included health systems, community organizations and companies, each with defined project periods and independent evaluation by RAND and others. The rounds have concluded and CMS now publishes project profiles and evaluation results.
