About the program

I-Corps at NIH is an entrepreneurship training program that provides commercialization training to NIH Phase I SBIR/STTR awardees. Teams of the principal investigator, an entrepreneurial lead and an industry mentor run structured customer discovery interviews over an intensive cohort curriculum adapted from the NSF I-Corps model for life sciences and regulated medical products. Participation is offered through NIH Guide notices to eligible small business awardees across NIH institutes.
