About the program
M2D2 is the UMass system's medical device incubator, described as a lifeline for the state's smaller medical device companies, giving inventors and executives access to researchers and core research facilities across UMass Lowell and UMass Chan Medical School. Resident companies use biotechnology and device labs across sites in Lowell and Worcester. Programs include the UMass LIFT program, the IMPACT Accelerator, the annual $200K Challenge pitch competition, an ARPA-H program and an Experts in Residence network.
