About the program
The Medicaid Innovation Accelerator Program was a CMS technical assistance initiative that supported state Medicaid agencies in delivery system reform across priority areas including substance use disorder, beneficiaries with complex needs, physical and mental health integration, and community integration through long-term services and supports. States joined structured, time-limited program tracks with coaching, learning collaboratives and data analytics support. It supported states rather than startups, and CMS has since folded its functions into other technical assistance channels. STATUS: The medicaid.gov program page now returns 404. CMS is active; this specific program is not.
