About the program
MIT Hacking Medicine is a student- and volunteer-run initiative that runs healthcare hackathons in Boston and internationally, including the flagship GrandHack. It applies a research-based design methodology to help clinicians, engineers and entrepreneurs converge on unmet clinical needs and build viable solutions. Partners have included the CDC, AstraZeneca, Roche and Novartis. Several venture-backed digital health companies trace their origin to its events.
