About the program
mRNA Access is Moderna's structured program giving academic and early-stage researchers access to Moderna's mRNA design and manufacturing toolkit to explore new vaccines and therapeutics against emerging and neglected diseases. Participants submit proposals and, if selected, receive research-grade mRNA constructs and technical support. Moderna retains an option to negotiate on resulting programs rather than taking equity up front.
