About the program

Ohio Third Frontier is the state's technology-based economic development program, providing capital and services to commercialize Ohio research and grow technology companies, with life sciences a major beneficiary. It funds the state's network of regional entrepreneurial service providers and pre-seed funds, including JumpStart, Rev1 Ventures and CincyTech. The program is the funding backbone for much of Ohio's health startup infrastructure.
