About the program
Pfizer Ignite offered selected biotechnology companies strategic guidance and end-to-end R&D services drawn from Pfizer's internal capabilities, structured through fee-for-service arrangements, strategic rights or equity deals. It targeted platform biotechs capable of generating multiple products. Pfizer decided to close the unit and disclosed the wind-down in its annual report, after revenue fell from $82 million to $41 million.
