About the program

sciVelo advances Pitt's translational research ecosystem with a transdisciplinary team of more than 20 practicing scientists, clinicians and translational research experts who identify and develop life and health sciences research into commercially viable solutions. Its commercialization initiatives are organized around drug discovery, immunotherapy (supporting more than 20 commercial translation projects), regenerative cell therapy, brain health, the Precision Medicine Initiative for Commercialization and a digital health initiative. It works alongside Pitt's Innovation Institute and health sciences schools.
