About the program

TMC Innovation is the startup acceleration and venture arm of the Texas Medical Center, uniting innovators with scientists and clinicians at TMC member institutions. It runs cohort-based accelerator programs including HealthTech (formerly TMCx), the Accelerator for Cancer Medical Devices (ACMD) and the Accelerator for Cancer Therapeutics (ACT). TMCi forms, fosters, recruits and funds healthcare companies globally, providing lab and office space, mentorship and access to TMC clinical partners. It also operates a Biodesign fellowship that spins out new medical device companies.
