Public description

About the program

UNeTech is a university-supported startup incubator in Omaha that builds companies around inventions coming out of UNMC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. It pairs university technologies, most of which come from the UNMC intellectual property portfolio managed by UNeMed, with community entrepreneurs and operators who can take them to a first customer or a first financing. UNeTech acts as an early investor, taking sweat equity alongside the innovation and connecting founders to local and national investors. It serves faculty inventors, student founders and outside entrepreneurs looking for a technology to build on, and it houses portfolio companies in its Omaha facility.
