Commercialization model
The health system buys a company, or a company it created is later acquired.
Acquisition appears in official corporate-development language more often than as a named closed transaction on innovation pages. Mayo Clinic's Business Development pages, for example, list mergers and acquisitions among official activities.
The directory will add specific transactions only when an official source names them. Until then, acquisition remains a documented route, not a list of deals.
