What This Program Does

Novant Health Enterprises is an independent business division launched by Novant Health in March 2022 to incubate, acquire and commercialize healthcare businesses rather than to make passive minority investments. It concentrates on three areas: developing transformational clinical capabilities, expanding into non-acute care settings, and commercializing differentiating digital solutions. The division is structured to partner with other healthcare organizations and to generate diversified growth outside Novant's core hospital operations. It is led by a president at the executive vice president level with a dedicated chief operating officer and general manager. Novant Health has also participated in digital health venture rounds alongside other systems.
