Program model

Hospital and health system innovation centers

What this model typically enables

Named innovation centers, institutes, and enterprise innovation programs that organize idea intake, pilots, partnerships, and, in some systems, commercialization support.

An innovation center is a public signal that a health system has created a durable home for new ideas. In the first directory prototypes, that home may sit beside a venture fund, a technology-transfer office, or a digital accelerator.

This page lists only systems whose official materials confirm a named innovation center or enterprise innovation program. Inclusion is not a ranking and does not mean every idea in the program has an external customer.

These sourced records show how hospital innovation programs are organized through this particular function.
