Mandate and remit
BRIDGE Innovation and Business Development is UMass Chan Medical School's office for translating faculty discoveries into licensed products and new companies. It runs the BRIDGE Fund, an internal translational funding program that invests in faculty projects with commercialization potential across therapeutics and medical devices, and it manages intellectual property, licensing and industry partnering for the medical school.
