What This Program Does

PCCI is a mission-driven nonprofit research and development organization that began as a department inside Parkland Health and was spun out as an independent entity in 2012. It specializes in practical applications of artificial intelligence and non-medical drivers of health for underserved populations, deploying predictive models for population health and clinical decision support. Its products include the Community Vulnerability Compass for social risk analytics and the Isthmus data integration platform for digital health infrastructure. PCCI remains tightly connected to Parkland Health, the Parkland Foundation and the Parkland Community Health Plan while working with other health systems and payers across North Texas and nationally. Outside organizations engage through partnerships that deploy PCCI's clinically validated AI models in their own settings.
