What This Program Does

Ohio State's Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) houses the university's Technology Commercialization Office and corporate engagement functions, serving Wexner Medical Center researchers among others. ERIK manages research administration, compliance, IP commercialization and industry partnerships. Its commercialization arm licenses technology through the Ohio State Innovation Foundation and supports faculty startup formation. Ohio State is a signatory of the Ohio IP Promise, a standardized framework for faculty commercialization terms.
