Fund or office: CU Healthcare Innovation Fund
The CU Healthcare Innovation Fund is a strategic healthcare venture fund affiliated with the CU Anschutz Medical Campus and backed by UCHealth and Children's Hospital Colorado, giving it access to three clinical enterprises for validation and deployment. It invests primarily in healthcare IT and technology-enabled services, with selective investments in medical devices and pharmaceuticals. The fund reports roughly $100 million in assets under management, having originally closed with $50 million in committed capital. Its management and investment advisory board is drawn from healthcare entrepreneurs and investors, and it maintains strategic relationships with more than ten multinational healthcare corporations. UCHealth separately operates the CARE Innovation Center as its internal innovation function.
