Hospital Innovation Programs Directory

An independent editorial resource published by Lisa T. Miller

Menu

Program model

Hospital and health system venture funds

What this model typically enables

Corporate venture and investment arms that deploy health-system capital into external companies, internal spinouts, or both.

A venture fund is one commercialization route, not a complete innovation strategy. Some funds primarily invest in external companies. Others sit inside a broader office that also licenses inventions and forms companies.

Figures such as assets under management are published only when an official source states them. The directory does not infer fund performance from the absence of a public return figure.

These sourced records show how hospital innovation programs are organized through this particular function.

Research guide

Compare hospital-backed venture fund structures

See which funds are health-system owned, provider sponsored, backed by strategic limited partners, or formally affiliated with an academic medical center.
