What This Program Does

The Innovation Fellowship is a 12-month interdisciplinary program run by the Center for Healthcare Innovation and Leadership at the Ohio State University College of Nursing, which exists to bring together leaders in innovation, entrepreneurship, education, practice and research. Fellows advance a real project through three phases the program calls creative inquiry, design and development, and synthesis and spread, with personalized coaching and a peer cohort. Participants identify high-leverage problems, prototype solutions, and finish with deliverables ready for launch, publication or scaling. The fellowship is open beyond Ohio State: the 2025-26 cohort includes faculty and healthcare professionals from a range of institutions and disciplines. An external advisory board of innovation and entrepreneurship practitioners supports the cohort.
