Hospital Innovation Programs Directory

An independent editorial resource published by Lisa T. Miller

Menu

Program model

Hospital incubators and accelerators

What this model typically enables

Time-bounded programs that fund, mentor, or clinically evaluate startups or internal teams, often in exchange for equity, a pilot, or a partnership.

Hospital accelerators may serve internal innovators, external companies, or both. Official pages usually describe cohort length, mentoring, and access to clinicians or operational leaders.

Acceptance into an accelerator is not evidence of commercial success. It is evidence that the health system has chosen a structured evaluation and support model.

These sourced records show how hospital innovation programs are organized through this particular function.
